What happens if you are a teacher abroad who arrives too late for the semester, no one is hiring and you find yourself rapidly running out of money until there is none. No family and no help, except from church organisations and other charities. Iberia Unknown is that story. Kelvin Hayes is the author, ex-music journalist and teacher out of his luck and out of his depth who somehow manages to traverse the Iberian Peninsular from Barcelona to Lisbon via Gibraltar and other Spanish towns and cities along the way.
